Uttarakhand, 21 April 2024: In the Higher Education Department, the transfer process of eligible personnel has started on all the posts of Joint Director, Principal, Deputy Director, Assistant Deputy Director and Assistant Professor in Group A and Groups B, C, D. The last date of application for compulsory transfer from Sugam to Durgam and from Durgam to Sugam workplace is 15th May while for transfer on request basis, it is mandatory to request by 30th April.
Personnel who have served three years in Sugam and four years in Durgam in the Higher Education Department will apply for transfer. The transfer application forms of Group A will be made available to the Directorate of Higher Education Nawadkheda (Haldwani) and the transfer application forms of all the posts of Group B, C and D will be made available to the Joint Director Higher Education Regional Office, Doon University Campus, Dehradun. Applications of eligible personnel in each cadre or post will be accepted in original only after the recommendation of the Principal and Head of the office of the concerned college along with the signature of the applicant. Application forms for transfer will not be accepted under any circumstances after the prescribed application date. The application form for transfer under mandatory and request category can be downloaded from the website of Higher Education Department.
Under the mandatory category in the website, application for Group A will be in Form A, for Group B, C and D, application will be in Form B and for transfer on request, application will be in Form C. The list of subject wise vacancies has also been uploaded on the departmental website. All personnel should apply for transfer only against vacant posts. The Higher Education Department has instructed the principals to forward the applications of only eligible personnel under the Transfer Act 2017. Proposals for transfer on administrative grounds will be provided with evidence. It will be mandatory to provide separate information in the attached prescribed format along with the transfer application forms regarding the personnel regularly working in the colleges and attached or employed elsewhere.

The period of one year remote service rendered in identified colleges (Chakrata and Munsiyari) at an altitude of 7000 feet or more during remote deployment will be considered equivalent to two years remote service.
Apply for compulsory transfer by 15th May and for transfer on request by 30th April. Applications will not be accepted after this. Transfer applications of Group A will be made available to the Directorate of Higher Education and transfer applications of Group B, C and D posts will also be made available to the Regional Office of the Joint Director of Higher Education, Doon University Campus.
