In a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren ,The Jharkhand government agreed to a proposal to provide free textbooks to students studying in Classes 9 and 10 in government schools.
As per the officials, The proposal was to provide free textbooks annually to all categories of students enrolled and studying in classes 9 and 10 in government schools of Jharkhand.
Apart from this, Schools in Uttarakhand will be reopening from August 2, 2021, for the students of classes 6 to 12.
However, Online classes will continue for the students to continue the teaching-learning process in the schools of Uttarakhand. Attendance for the offline classes is not mandatory for the students and students attending classes will be required to submit the parent’s consent letter.
