On Friday, The higher authorities of Odisha has announced that universities and colleges in the state, closed due to the pandemic, will reopen for physical classes from August 16.
As the higher education department tweeted, that the Classes will resume for first-year postgraduate and pre-final year undergraduate students. Moreover, the tweet also said that “Universities and Colleges (under Higher Education Dept) will open for physical classroom teaching (and for hostel accommodation) from 16.08.21 for PG First Year and UG Pre-Final Year students,”.
The department also included that the“Exams for PG/UG Final Year students will be held in online mode as planned earlier,”
Apart from this, The state government is also planning to reopen schools for Classes 9 and 11 from August 16 and September 15 respectively.
