“In despite of COVID-19; The Chief Minister of Puducherry N Rangaswamy has announced the reopening of schools for students of Classes 9-12 as well as colleges from July 16”
As per the CM Minister N Rangasamy ; The Colleges will reopen on July 16. Schools would also reopen partially and classes for ninth to 12th standards alone would resume that day.
Moreover, Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan talked about the vaccination stauts in the Union territory: “Vaccination has picked up in Puducherry, we have crossed over 5 lakh vaccinations.”However, The government aims to vaccinate all eligible people in the Union Territory by August .
However, As per the sources,On March 11, the Governor approved a proposal to declare the students of Classes 1 to 9 in the Union Territory as ‘all pass’ this academic year.
Furthermore, The students of Class 10 and Class 11 in Puducherry and Karaikal will be declared ‘all pass’ as per guidelines of the Tamil Nadu Board.
