Sanskrit Bharati Conference Concludes with a Call to Revive the Ancient Language


 
Ramnagar: The two-day provincial conference of Sanskrit Bharati, an organization dedicated to the promotion of Sanskrit, was held at Ramnagar Khatri Sabha Bhawan, Ramnagar. Hundreds of Sanskrit lovers, scholars, and students participated in this event.The conference was concluded by regional organization minister Devendra Pandya, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Shastri, Harishgururani, Girish Tiwari, Gaurav Shastri, Devendra Harbola, etc. They appealed to everyone to make continuous efforts to revive Sanskrit. Finally, the program ended with the national anthem and a vote of thanks. This conference was an important pillar in the direction of the promotion of Sanskrit and infused new energy in the participants.
 
Regional Minister Devendra Varya said that Sanskrit is necessary for introduction, for protection of culture, for preservation of scriptures, for explaining Indian knowledge and science, for teaching Sanskrit to the society, for social harmony, for peace in the world, for promotion of culture, for preservation of Indian languages, for the sense of unity of the nation, for preservation of glorious tradition and civilization, and for becoming a world guru.
 
North-West Regional Minister Harish Gururani said that there are people of Sanskrit, there are institutions of Sanskrit, but Sanskrit is not in the society; therefore, Sanskrit Bharati started the work of speaking in Sanskrit in the society itself, and today the work of speaking in Sanskrit is going on in 27 countries in which today crores of people are able to speak in Sanskrit.
 
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Shastri said that today we are recognizing our culture, so the credit for preserving it goes to Sanskrit only; it is this that has given civilization to human life. The program was conducted by Dr. Prakash Chandra Jangi. The vote of thanks was given by Jagdish Pandey.
 
The main objective of the conference was to review the revival of the Sanskrit language, its relevance in modern life, and the efforts being made for its promotion. Also, plans and policies to reach Sanskrit to the masses were discussed. In their address, the scholars highlighted the importance of Sanskrit, culture, and its global identity. Various scholars presented their views on topics such as “Relevance of Sanskrit in the modern era,” “Sanskrit and science,” and “Place of Sanskrit in the education system.” Teachers and students shared their experiences and discussed ways to teach Sanskrit in a simple and effective manner. In the conference, the workers presented the report of Sanskrit promotion work and reviewed the plan for the work of the coming year. All the workers resolved to take Sanskrit forward wholeheartedly.
 
In the conference, the participants were given training to improve Sanskrit speaking and writing skills. Also, some important decisions were taken in the conference, including organizing free teaching camps of Sanskrit and providing Sanskrit courses through digital medium. Establishing a branch of Sanskrit Bharti in every district. To attract the new generation towards Sanskrit, interesting material was created, etc.
 
At the same time, continuous teaching work is going on in the residential Prabodhan Varg of Sanskrit Bharati, which is going on from the 2nd, in which people from 13 districts of Uttarakhand are learning Sanskrit. Under the guidance of class teacher Acharya Kirtivallabh Maindolia, class teaching head Kuldeep Maindola and Dr. Anand Joshi, Rakesh Semwal, Krishna Kumar, Saloni, Jyotiprakash, Santosh, Mohit, Karan Joshi, etc., are providing management and various skills and teaching to the students.
