Sanskrit Bharati’s Language Proficiency Camp Begins in Ramnagar

Seven-Day Residential Camp Aims to Enhance Sanskrit Language Skills

Ramnagar: A seven-day residential language proficiency camp organized by Sanskrit Bharati Uttaranchalam commenced in Ramnagar with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a Saraswati Vandana.

Shri Rakesh Semwal introduced and welcomed the guests. Dr. Raghav Jha, the regional teaching head, familiarized everyone with the activities and mission of Sanskrit Bharati.

In the inaugural session, the chief guest, retired principal Dr. Satyaprakash Mishra, enlightened the students about the significance of the Sanskrit language and highlighted the various benefits of learning it. Dr. Chandra Prakash Upreti, co-regional secretary, gave a detailed introduction to the various initiatives undertaken by the organization for promoting the language.

Dr. Jagdish Chandra Pandey, the regional coordinator, expressed gratitude to the guests. The program was conducted by Dr. Rajesh Sharma.

The camp is being held at the Khatri Sabha Bhavan near the Ram Mandir in Ramnagar. Dr. Devendra Prasad Harbola, the camp’s chief coordinator, warmly welcomed all attendees.

Around 60 learners from all districts of the state are participating in the camp, along with more than 20 volunteers. The teaching head of the camp is Shri Kuldeep Mendola.

Gaurav Shastri, the regional organization secretary of Sanskrit Bharati, informed that a regional conference of Sanskrit Bharati will also be held at the same venue on January 5th and 6th. Approximately 250 volunteers from all districts of the state will attend the conference, along with several vice-chancellors and professors from various universities.

The conference will involve discussions and planning for the promotion and propagation of the Sanskrit language.

Prominent attendees at the event included Dr. Mool Chandra Shukla, Jyoti Prakash, Mohit Sharma, Santosh Kapri, Saloni, Anand Joshi, and Mahima Chaudhary.
