Savikriti Wildlife Indian Federation Leads Women’s Empowerment and Environmental Awareness Initiative on International Women’s Day

Maldhan Chaur/ Ramnagar: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Savikriti Wildlife Indian Federation organized a remarkable awareness program in Gandhinagar, Maldhan Chaur Village, aimed at educating women about their rights and entitlements, with a strong emphasis on promoting gender equality. The core objective of the event was to advocate for equal treatment of sons and daughters in society, fostering a more inclusive and equitable environment.

The event witnessed energetic participation from local school students, who performed engaging plays and soulful songs, effectively conveying the message of women empowerment and social equality. These artistic expressions deeply resonated with the audience, leaving a profound impact on the importance of treating women and girls with dignity and respect.

As part of the initiative to promote menstrual hygiene, the federation distributed over 60 sanitary pads to the women in attendance. This gesture was coupled with a detailed discussion on the significance of menstrual health and hygiene practices, aiming to break the stigma around menstruation in rural areas.

Adding warmth to the event, tea and samosas were served to all participants, fostering a spirit of community bonding and mutual understanding. The event also provided a platform for open discussions on women’s role in safeguarding the natural environment, emphasizing their pivotal contribution to rural environmental sustainability.

Snehil Sharma, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Savikriti Wildlife Indian Federation, delivered an impactful speech highlighting key measures to boost environmental health, aligning with the Atma Nirbhar Bharat vision. He outlined the future goals of the organization and encouraged active participation of rural women in wildlife conservation and eco-friendly practices.

The event concluded with a collective message of unity, empowerment, and environmental responsibility. Other prominent members present during the event included Sachin Kumar, Karishma, Suhani, Ranveer Singh, Sumit, and Jatin Lalit, who actively supported the event’s vision and mission.
