“Anupama” Introduces New Characters, Loses Old Favorites

TV’s most popular serial ‘Anupama’ is very famous in every household. This serial, which has been running continuously since the year 2020, has made a special place in the hearts of the audience. Rupali Ganguly, who plays the character of Anupama in the show, has become a household name. This show, which has been number one in the TRP list since 2014, has taken a leap of a few years several times to take the story forward.

Many new characters were added to the story of the show which the audience also liked and gave them a chance to make a place in their hearts. Now once again a gap of many years has been shown in it. While new cast has been added to this story, many old ones have also disappeared.

The makers of the show have once again taken a leap of a few years to take the story forward and show a new aspect to the audience, for which they have released a new promo of the show. The show has taken a leap many times before but this time the leap is a little different. This time the story has moved forward a generation. In the new promo of the show, the character of Anupamaa has been shown a generation older. While many old actors have now exited the show, some new actors have entered. The character of Aadhya has also been shown grown up in the promo, who no longer lives with Anupamaa. Aadhya has now become a tourist guide from which she earns her living.

In the recent episodes of the show, Dimple’s death was shown for which Aadhya was blamed. Later, Aadhya leaves Asha Bhawan and runs away from there. Aadhya’s character will now be played by Alisha Parveen instead of actress Aura Bhatnagar, who has also worked in the TV serial ‘Udaariyaan’ before this. This time a new hero has also entered. Shivam Khajuria will now be the main lead in the show, who was also seen in the serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ before this. He is shown as Anupama’s business partner who is helping in running a kitchen service named ‘Anu Ki Rasoi’. In the promo, Anupama is shown to be short of money in which Shivam Khajuria’s character helps her.

What happened to the old characters?

The character of ‘Anuj Kapadia’ is not shown in the show’s promo, while the story of the show revolves around Anupama and Anuj. Earlier in the show, Anuj’s character is shown being chased by someone and he gets trapped in it. He is being chased by none other than his brother Ankush, whose aim is to usurp Anuj’s business and keep him away from his family. On the other hand, Anupama’s ‘Baa and Bapuji’ are also missing from the promo.

In such a situation, the question arises whether their characters are no longer in the show or they will be shown in Asha Bhawan with Anupama. It will be interesting to see what the makers of the show have done with all these characters.

Fans expressed displeasure

Although the makers have tried hard to bring life to the show with a leap, people are seen trolling the makers a lot on social media regarding the show. Due to the lack of anything new in the show and showing the same story, people are fed up with this serial. They are demanding to end the show on a good note.

The producer of the show is Rajan Shahi who is also the producer of the serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. This is not the first time that the producer of the show is facing trolling from people. Even before this, he has faced mixed reactions from people for the serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. The audience seems to be upset with the show due to the story shown in the show and the leaps taken repeatedly. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see how much this leap trick of Rajan Shahi works for the Anupama serial.
