Rapper-singer Badshah in legal trouble; case filed in connection with song ‘Bawaal’
A media company has filed a case against rapper Badshah. The company alleges that Badshah has not paid the fees fixed under an agreement. Actually, the company had an agreement with the rapper for his song ‘Bawaal’.
However, the company says that despite completing all the services related to production and promotion, Badshah has allegedly not paid the people involved in the process.
Accused of giving false assurances
According to media reports, the company has accused Badshah that despite repeated contact, Badshah only gave false assurances and postponed the payment deadline without actually making any payment. Badshah and Amit Uchana are seen in the song Bawal. This song has become very popular. Since its release on Badshah’s personal channel, it has received more than 15 crore views on YouTube.
Landed in legal trouble last year too
The media company claims that they spent a lot of money on the production and promotion of the song. The company says that the work and efforts done by them have been helpful in enhancing Badshah’s brand image and public reputation. This is not the first time Badshah has faced legal issues. Last year, he had to appear before the Maharashtra Police’s cyber cell for his involvement in promoting the online betting app FairPlay.
