The megastar of the century Amitabh Bachchan is currently seen hosting the popular quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’. However, the upcoming episode of the show is going to be very special and family friendly as Big B’s beloved Abhishek Bachchan will be seen as a guest on the set.
The actor will be seen promoting his film I Want To Talk, but after the release of the promo, it seems like the actor is regretting his decision.
Recently, the makers of the show shared the promo on their official Instagram handle. It begins with Abhishek sitting on the hot seat in front of his father. Whenever a contestant wins a prize on the quiz show. Abhishek keeps trolling Amitabh with his imitation of shouting ” 7 crores”.
He says that Amitabh can’t stop himself from shouting “7 crores” even while eating at home with his family. Amitabh gets happy and says, “I made a mistake by calling him here.” In the promo, Abhishek’s I Want To Talk director Shoojit Sarkar can be seen laughing among the studio audience.
Interestingly, this is the first time Shoojit is working with Abhishek in this film, but he has worked with Amitabh Bachchan four times – his yet-to-be-released debut film Shoebite, Piku, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary’s courtroom drama Pink, in which Shoojit was the creative producer, and most recently, Gulabo Sitabo.
I Want to Talk also stars Johnny Lever and Ahalya Bamru. Produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, the biographical drama is set to hit the screens on November 22, the same day as the KBC special episode with Abhishek will be aired at 9 pm.
