Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 52: ‘Stree 2’ is breathing heavily after defeating Jawaan, know the business of 52nd day

The film ‘Stree 2’ released on the occasion of Independence Day created a storm at the box office. This film starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao created a stir at the box office from the very first day of its release. Today, the film has completed 52 days of its release. However, now its collection is declining. The initial figures of the film’s earnings on the eighth Saturday have come out. Let’s take a look at them-

The film ‘Stree 2’ starring Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana and directed by Amar Kaushik has created history by registering its presence in the Rs 500 crore club. Released on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August, the film had a great opening on the very first day. The film registered an earning of Rs 291.65 crores in the first week. Entering the second week, the film continued its strong earning and collected Rs 141.4 crores.

Maddock Supernatural Universe’s film ‘Stree 2’ earned Rs 70.2 crore in the third week. In the fourth week, it earned Rs 36.1 crore. In the fifth week, it collected Rs 24.65 crore. In the sixth week, it added Rs 18.6 crore to its account. On the 44th day, it earned Rs 90 lakh, on the 45th day, it earned Rs 2.1 crore, on the 46th day, it earned Rs 2.5 crore and on the 47th day, it earned Rs 65 lakh. On the 48th day (Tuesday), it earned Rs 85 lakh.

Made on a budget of just Rs 60 crore, this film collected Rs 1.68 crore on the 49th day of its release. The film did a business of Rs 45 lakh on the 50th day of its release. Thus, its total collection in seven weeks became Rs 9.35 crore. The film is now running in its eighth week. The movie earned Rs 50 lakh on the 51st day. It has collected Rs 85 lakh on the 52nd day. Thus, the total business of ‘Stree 2’ till now has become Rs 593.30 crore.

‘Stree 2’ is struggling a lot to join the 600 crore club. If the film succeeds in doing so, it will become the highest grossing Hindi film. This record is held by Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ till now. However, ‘Stree 2’ has claimed the title of the highest grossing Hindi horror-comedy film.
