Mumbai: On Wednesday , megastar Amitabh Bachchan donated high-tech ventilators and some other medical equipments to a civic run hospital.
As per Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) , the Bollywood icon has donated some other medical equipment, including monitors, C-arm image intensifier and infuser pump – collectively worth Rs 1.75 crore – apart from ventilators to Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital at Sion.
Moreover, According to the civic body; the high-tech ventilators that are donated by the star are being used to treat patients whose oxygen level drops or those who face difficulty in breathing . However, these ventilators are installed in the surgery department of the hospital and until now around 30 patients have undergone treatment using the equipment.
Apart from this, The veteran actor has made several donations for Covid-care in the recent past.
