Dharmendra: ‘I will come to hug you’, Dharmendra gave a special congratulations to his friend on winning the Dadasaheb Phalke Award
Actor Mithun Chakraborty was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award on 8 October at the ‘National Film Awards’ ceremony held in the national capital Delhi. From common people to all the big personalities of Bollywood are sending congratulatory messages to him on social media. Mithun is known for his brilliant performances in films like ‘Agneepath’, ‘Mujhe Insaaf Chahiye’ and many others. Now after this special achievement, his old friend and fellow actor Dharmendra shared a congratulatory message on social media, in which he expressed his happiness on the actor’s achievement. Dharmendra shared a picture with Mithun Chakraborty and congratulated him on receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
He praised Mithun and asked him to convey his love to the family. The He-Man further added that though he is currently out of India, he would love to come back and hug Mithun. The post read, “Dear Mithun, congratulations on India’s most prestigious award Dada Saheb Phalke. Convey my love to everyone at home. I am out of India but I will definitely come back to hug you.”
“What can I say? Such a huge honour. I can only thank God. The struggle I went through, God has given me everything back. I am still missing it,” the actor said on the red carpet ahead of the National Awards ceremony.
Not only this, Mithun Chakraborty told that he was trolled and insulted in the industry because of his dark complexion. The actor told that he was told that there is no place for dark-skinned people in the film industry, so he had to endure a lot of humiliation.
