Farhan Akhtar is One in the Lakhs

In the horde of multi tasking Bollywood celebs, Few are actors first, few are dancers firs, few have Greek god looks, few are great singers, few are writers and few are the directors. Farhan is the one Bollywood superstar, who not only have good looks but he is one complete package. He has shown his amazing skills and all his skills are proficient.

He has stepped in as director and given few of the most memorable hits like Dil Chahta hai, Lakshya, Don 1 – 2. He has produced Fukrey 1-2, Don 1-2, RockOn and Zindagi na Milegi Dubara and many other hits. As a Singer, his voice in Rockon, Zindagi na Milegi Dubara and many other has given relaxed sensation to the listeners. Apart from this, his fine tuned acting in films like Bhag Milkha Bhag, ZNMD showed his versatile niche in this department too.

The multi award winner is the recipient of  National award for directing the films like Rockon and Dil Chahta hai. he wrote the dialogues, produced and acted for the critical and commercial success Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), which won him two Filmfare Awards, including Best Supporting Actor. In the same year, he directed a sequel to Don titled Don 2 (2011), which remains his highest-grossing film till date. He achieved further success by portraying Milkha Singh in the 2013 film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. In 2016, Akhtar received praise for starring in the crime thriller Wazir and the comedy drama Dil Dhadakne Do.

He is a social activist too. He has been doing a great work to establish equal opportunities for women through his NPO called MARD (Men against Rape and Discrimination).  It is an NPO  and is a social initiative formulated and organized by him to create awareness to instill gender equality and respect towards women.
