Actor Shah Rukh Khan, known as the King of Bollywood, gave consecutive hits like ‘Pathan’, ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Donkey’ last year. Recently, the actor revealed what kind of roles he would like to play. On the Locarno Meets podcast, Shah Rukh Khan discussed his approach to acting and said that his job is to make the audience believe in the character, not to believe in it himself.
The actor emphasized during the conversation that after doing an emotional scene, he does not pay attention to it for several days. Instead, he focuses on whether he has successfully expressed the emotions and connected with the audience.
SRK has expressed his desire to play different kinds of roles and characters and stressed that he doesn’t feel limited to stereotypes. He prefers to portray heroes on a larger-than-life scale, but is keen to explore new avenues in his acting. Recently, he also expressed his desire to play a villain, believing he has a fresh approach to the role. After experimenting with action sequences last year, he now wants to play a killer. Every day he has new ideas in his mind that he wants to play.
