Raj Kundra’s adult film racket case: Hansal Mehta comes out in support of Shilpa Shetty

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta step in to support bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, who is been in the news and has been trolled by the social media and other media outlets after husband Raj Kundra was arrested in connection with an adult film racket.

As, the scam 1992 director, through his social media supported the ‘Dhadkan’ actress . He tweeted; If you cannot stand up for her at least leave Shilpa Shetty alone and let the law decide? Allow her some dignity and privacy. It is unfortunate that people in public life ultimately are left to fend for themselves and are proclaimed guilty even before justice is meted out”

In addition to this, the Filmmaker in his another tweet stated; “This silence is a pattern. In good times everybody parties together. In bad times there is deafening silence. There is isolation. No matter what the ultimate truth the damage is already done.”

Moreover, he added; This vilification is a pattern. If the allegations are against a film person there is a rush to invade privacy, to pass sweeping judgement, to character-assassinate, to fill ‘news’ with trashy gossip – all at the cost of individuals and their dignity. This is the cost of silence,”

Apart from this, Shilpa Shetty recently files defamation suit against media houses for publishing false and defamatory content on social media and other websites against her to spoil her image and reputation.

Moreover, the actress suits amount of Rs 20 crore with an interest of 18 percent annum from the date of filing the defamation suit until payment.
