The shooting of the third season of Bobby Deol’s favorite series Ashram was underway in Bhopal a few months back. During the shooting here, the star and the makers were attacked by the mob. The makers had to stop the shooting after the controversy escalated.
Gadar 2
Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol were shooting for Gadar 2 in Palampur sometime back. The owner of the house where the film was being shot had accused the makers of cheating. The landlord had alleged that the makers have not given him Rs 58 lakh as rent.
Manikarnika
The shooting of Kangana Ranaut starrer film Manikarnika was also stopped midway. The production was accused of not paying money to the laborers and technicians during the shooting. As soon as the matter came to light, the workers union and federation stopped the shooting.
Dhadak
The shooting of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer film Dhadak was also stopped due to controversies. The shooting of the film was being done at Ambikeshwar Mahadev Temple in Amer. The visor of the temple was broken by the team during the shooting here. This angered the local people so much that they started protesting. The team stopped the shooting after seeing the anger of the crowd.
Good Luck Jerry
Janhvi Kapoor was in Patiala in January 2021 for the shooting of the upcoming film Good Luck Jerry. But the shooting of the film was stopped due to ruckus by the people of the farmers’ movement.
Dhakad
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has often been in controversies for her controversial statements. Last year, the actress had made a controversial statement regarding the CAA bill, due to which Kangana, who was shooting in Bhopal, had to face difficulties. The actress had given a statement against Muslims, in such a situation, the local people refused to give food to her team during the shooting.
Padmavat
Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmavat was in a lot of controversy. At the time of shooting, as soon as people came to know that this film is the story of Rani Padmavati, the angry people started creating ruckus on the sets. Many people even protested on the sets.
