Tarak Mehta makers get new Sonu
Now, the makers have announced actress Khushi Mali as the new ‘Sonu’ in ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. On the show’s official Instagram account, the makers shared a picture of Khushi and wrote, “Join us in welcoming Khushi Mali as ‘Sonu Bhide’ to the Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah family! Get ready to light up Gokuldham with her energy and beauty.”
 
Asit Modi is happy to cast Khushi.
On casting Khushi in Taarak Mehta, the producer of the show Asit Kumar Modi told ETimes, “Sonu is an important part of Tappu Sena, and her presence will definitely be loved by the audience. Casting Khushi Mali was a careful decision, and we are confident that she will play the role of Sonu very well.”
