There are many private hospitals against which the Chandigarh Administration has received complaints of overcharging. Overcharging has been found by Sector-8 City Hospital in the name of treatment from a corona infected patient. The committee formed under the leadership of SDM Central has ordered the City Hospital to refund the overcharging of Rs 66 thousand from the patient. The committee has given a decision against the city hospital and asked them to return the amount to the relatives of the deceased patient in 10 days. The Director Health Services has been asked to contact the family of the deceased infected patient and get overcharging of Rs 66 thousand from the city hospital. According to the information, a woman had complained against the city hospital for overcharging the deceased husband in the name of treatment of corona. The complainant woman Nishi Dadwal had admitted her husband Devinder Dadwal, Kovid positive, to the City Hospital in Sector-8 on April 21. The woman told that her husband was made a bill of about one lakh rupees in the name of oxygen facility and treatment. For five days when there was no improvement in her husband’s health. City Hospital referred her husband to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH-32)
