BACK ON THE FEET – MAMTA BANERJEE

Trinamool Congress Chief Mamta Banerjee stood up on her feet and sang the national anthem before halting campaigning in Nandigram on Tuesday.The Congress chief injured her foot on March 10 and has been campaigning in wheelchair. Before the campaigning stopped Banerjee start with support of her two BMC leaders Nandigram. The second phase of voting will be held in the state on April 1.

During the meeting, Banerjee gestured her trusted aides Subrata Bakshi and Dola Sen to come to her side and then the leader stood up with their support.

The Congress chief looked uncomfortable, but with support she stood on the stage for Nationa Anthem . As soon as it ended she went back to wheelchair.
