“On Friday, The punjab state Government has lifted the night as well as weekend curfew and allowed gyms, resturant, spa’s and cinema halls”
The Chief Minister Amarinder Singh of Punjab announced that the COVID-19 restrictions across the state will be further eased as the coronavirus situation has improved drastically.
However, The weekend and night curfews will be removed, while people who have been vaccinated with even one dose will be allowed to visit bars, cinemas, gyms and malls.
As per the chief minister’s officials; an increase in supply of vaccines is critical and opening of sectors requires stakeholders with one dose.
The relaxations includes:
•Gatherings of 100 people indoors and 200 outdoors has been allowed.
•All restrictions imposed for weekend and night curfew has been removed.
•Bars, gyms, cinema halls, restaurants, spas have been allowed to re-open with the condition that staff must have taken at least one COVID19 vaccine dose.
•Moreover, The visitors will be allowed to enterin bars, gyms, cinema halls, restaurants, spas if they have taken at least one COVID19 vaccine dose.
Apart from this, The CM also directed the Director-General of Police to fine all political leaders violating Covid behavior rules while holding rallies and protest meetings.
