FIRST DOSE OF VACCINE PHASE III TO ABOVE 45

The third phase of corona vaccination campaign will start from Thursday. This phrase will target all people aged above 45 years and will be given the first dose. Now there is no need for the people of 45 years and above to show any medical certificate. The target has set to 400 million soch people. The centre has directed states and UTs to identify the less vaccination areas and ordered to take drastic measures. Meeting was held with National Health Authority (NHA) CEO and chairman of high powered group Dr. RS Sharma and union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan reviewed the vaccination.

According to the ministry of health,the meeting specifically reviewed less vaccinated areas were marked and strict actions were taken. Targetting these areas was the main aim of this meeting. Private centeres will be reviewed separately. Apart from this duplicate registration data will also be collected in the COVID platform.

Due to the increase in new cases the government is going to start third phase at a difference of just one month. The centre has ordered to target people above the age of 45 years with in the next two weeks
