The Haryana government has started trying to stop the proposed strike of doctors on December 13. Director General of Health Services Dr. Veena Singh has appealed to all doctors not to go on strike in view of the pandemic situation. Veena Singh said that they should not take part in the statewide strike announced by the Haryana Civil Medical Services (HCMS) Association from December 13.
He has also appealed to the office bearers of HCMS Association to withdraw the strike notice in view of the interest of the general public. Dr. Veena informed that HCMS Association has called for statewide strike from 13th December 2021 for its demands, creation of specialist cadre, amendment in post graduate policy and ban on direct recruitment of SMOs.
