The requirement of oxygen for serious corona patients has not being fulfilled for the third consecutive day in Delhi. Despite the order of the Supreme Court, Delhi has not received oxygen supply in the prescribed quantity. As per the intel given by Delhi government on May 8, 499 MT (metric ton) of oxygen was supplied to Delhi,Which is about 200 metric tons less than the requirement. The Supreme Court has a clear directive that the central government must deliver 700 MT of oxygen daily to Delhi. Earlier, on May 7, Delhi was supplied 487 metric tons, on May 6, 577 metric tons of medical oxygen was supplied.
After the strictness of Delhi high court and The Supreme Court , Delhi received 730 metric tonnes of oxygen on May 5 . For which Delhi Chief Minister , Arwind Kejriwal thanked PM Modi . As per the information on May 8 ,Delhi only received 4 oxygen crises messages.
