New Delhi: These days the terror of dengue, chikungunya and malaria is spreading in Uttar Pradesh. As the rainy season is intensifying in the state, deadly diseases are spreading. Recently, many children died of dengue in Firozabad. It is believed that the death toll could be more than 50. So many deaths in Firozabad shook the government too. The effect of which was also seen when CM Yogi himself visited Firozabad and met the families of the deceased children. At the same time in Mathura, 12 people have lost their lives due to fever.
Amidst the increasing infection of Corona virus, mysterious fever has raised concern in Uttar Pradesh and so far more than 60 people have lost their lives in the state. This fever has been identified as Scrub Typhus, cases of which have been reported in Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah and Kasganj apart from Mathura. Apart from this, cases of fever have also been reported in Jhansi, Auraiya, Kanpur, Firozabad and Saharanpur.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), scrub typhus fever, also called scrub typhus, was caused by a bacteria called Orientia Tsutsugamushi. This bacteria is spread through the bite of infected chiggers (larval mites). Symptoms in scrub typhus The infection spreads within 10 days of the bite of chiggers and the infected person shows symptoms like fever, runny nose, headache, body and muscle pain, irritability, rash on the body.
