Restoration of old pension: Police, employees were not allowed to go beyond ISBT crossing in every corner in Shimla.

HIMACHAL PRADESH: Employees from across the state are reaching Shimla to gherao the Vidhan Sabha today, demanding restoration of old pension in Himachal Pradesh. The employees have been stopped by the police near the ISBT crossing. Now they will reach wide ground via Baluganj. Traffic is normal in the city now.

At the same time, Jairam Sarkar is surrounded inside and outside the House on the old pension scheme. Inside the house, the Congress raised slogans against the government. The ruling party also retaliated on the opposition by raising slogans of NPS Kaun Lai. The opposition went to the well in the house and stopped all the work and asked for a discussion on the restoration of OPS.

Congress MLA Asha Kumari said before the start of the Question Hour that a notice of adjournment motion has been given, discussion should be started on it. The opposition returned to the Well after the speaker’s intervention. The Speaker, while rejecting the adjournment motion, said that – Let there be Question Hour, only then this issue should be raised under the question of order.
