A terrorist attack on a bus in Jammu and Kashmir killed nine worshipers
Jammu-Kashmir: Terrorists assaulted a pilgrim bus in Jammu’s Reasi area. As a result, a bus transporting pilgrims lost control and crashed into a ditch. This catastrophe claimed the lives of nine pilgrims and left 33 injured. This attack occurred in Teryath village, Poni region, when pilgrims were on their way to the Shivkhodi temple. Senior military, police, and paramilitary authorities have arrived at the scene.
SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma stated, “Initial indications indicate that terrorists opened fire on a passenger bus traveling from Shivkhodi to Katra. The firing caused the bus driver to lose balance, and the bus slid into the ditch. This event has harmed 33 individuals and killed 9. She stated that the passengers have not been identified yet and are not locals. The Shivkhodi Shrine has been secured. DC Reasi stated that ten people died in this incident.
She described it as a very tragic situation. The terrorists were hiding in an ambush. They attacked the bus. As a result, the driver lost his balance, and the bus plunged into the ditch. Let us tell you that Shivkhodi has a temple devoted to Lord Shiva. Katra serves as a base camp for the Vaishno Devi temple in the Trikuta Hills.
According to preliminary reports, a bus carrying pilgrims to the Shivkhodi shrine was attacked in Teryath hamlet of the Poni district. He stated that a rescue operation has begun, and police, army, and paramilitary troops have arrived at the scene.

It’s awful to see neighborhoods that were formerly free of extremists. Militant activity has returned. May the dead rest in peace, and the injured recover quickly.”
