Jio-Airtel Tariff Hike: Jio and Airtel are the two largest telecom operators in India. They have recently announced a hike in their data tariffs. This has caused a lot of resentment among users, who are unhappy with the price hike.

Airtel has announced to increase mobile rates by 10 to 21 percent. The new prices of the plans will be implemented for customers from July 3, 2024 next month.
New prices of Jio plans
The prices of Jio Prepaid and Jio Postpaid Plans have been increased by up to Rs 600. The increased prices will come into effect from July 3, 2024, which means that after July 3, you will have to pay more money.
Reliance Jio New Recharge Plans
Reliance Jio’s base plan of Rs 155 has been made expensive. This plan will be available from July 3 for Rs 189. The validity of this recharge plan is 28 days.
At the same time, the recharge plan of Rs 209 is priced at Rs 249 and its validity is also 28 days. Customers will continue to get the same data benefits in this plan as before.
Talking about the Rs 239 plan, its price has been reduced to Rs 299. This plan also comes with a validity of 28 days. Let us tell you that unlimited 5G data is offered in this pack of Jio.
For the Rs 1599 recharge plan with 1 year validity, customers will now have to pay Rs 1899. Let us tell you that a total of 24GB data is available in this plan.
Jio will now offer unlimited 5G data only in those prepaid plans in which 2GB or more data is offered every day.
New prices of Airtel plans
Airtel has announced to increase mobile rates by 10 to 21 percent. The new prices of the plans will be implemented for the customers from July 3, 2024 next month.
New prices of Airtel prepaid plans
Unlimited voice plans: After the tariff hike, now you will have to spend Rs 199 for Airtel’s Rs 179 plan, Rs 509 for the Rs 455 plan and Rs 1999 for the Rs 1799 plan.
Daily data plans: Rs 299 will have to be spent for the Rs 265 plan, Rs 349 for the Rs 299 plan, Rs 409 for the Rs 359 plan and Rs 449 for the Rs 399 plan. The Rs 479 plan will now cost you Rs 579, the Rs 549 plan will cost Rs 649, the Rs 719 plan will cost Rs 859, the Rs 839 plan will cost Rs 979 and the Rs 2999 annual plan will cost Rs 3599.
Airtel Data Plans: The cheapest data plan of Airtel was priced at Rs 19, but now this plan will cost Rs 22, the Rs 29 plan will cost Rs 33 and the Rs 65 plan will cost Rs 77.
New prices of postpaid plans
The old price of Airtel’s cheapest postpaid plan was Rs 399, but now you will get the same plan for Rs 449. The Rs 499 plan will cost Rs 549.
The Rs 599 plan will cost Rs 699 and the Rs 999 plan will cost Rs 1199 for Airtel postpaid users.
