Akhilesh Yadav said in the House- Even if I win 80 seats in UP, I will not trust EVM

Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Participating in the discussion on the motion of thanks on the speech of President Draupadi Murmu, Akhilesh said in the Lok Sabha that the All India Alliance has won a moral victory in the elections. Taking a jibe at the BJP’s slogan of ‘Mission 400 Paar’, the SP president said that the claim of crossing 400 was made in the elections. But the public broke the pride of the government. This is the first time that it seems that a defeated government is in power. The public is saying that the government is not going to run. This is a government that is going to fall.

Akhilesh Yadav said that this government claims to be farmer friendly but not a single new market was opened during its tenure of the last 10 years. When not even a single market was opened, how will the farmers trust the legal guarantee of MSP. Akhilesh, as usual, raised questions on EVMs. He said that there was no trust on EVMs yesterday, and there is no trust today either. Even if I win 80 seats, there will be no trust on it. We will change EVMs by winning with EVMs.

The SP president said that an education exam mafia has been born in the country. The youth used to go with preparation and when he returns after giving the exam, he comes to know that the paper has been leaked. This happened in every exam. NEET paper was also leaked. Why is this happening? This government does not want to give jobs, so the paper is being leaked. How will the government that kills hope work for the youth.

Discussing the victory of SP on the Faizabad seat, the SP leader said that there has been one more victory. That victory is of Ayodhya. This victory is the biggest victory for India. Referring to a quatrain of Ramcharit Manas, Akhilesh said that ‘Hoihen wahi jo Ram rachi rakha- ye unki faisla hai jiski lathi me nahi hoti waav’.

Akhilesh Yadav said in the House that we are in favor of caste census, because without it social justice is not possible. Targeting the government, he said that reservation is being tampered with. He said that the security of the country has been compromised by implementing the Agniveer scheme. We do not accept the Agniveer scheme, whenever the ‘India’ alliance comes to power, we will end this scheme.
