‘I had left before the gathering…’ Bhole Baba’s first reaction on Hathras incident

121 people died and many were injured in a stampede on Tuesday at a satsang organized in Majra Phulrai of Gram Panchayat Ratibhaanpur of Sikandrarao Tehsil of Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. Most of the dead are women and children. Many politicians including the President, Prime Minister, Chief Minister have expressed grief over the accident.

Narayan Sakar Hari, who is believed to be responsible for the death of 121 people, has issued a letter and given the first statement. In a statement issued in English, Baba said, we express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and pray to God for the speedy recovery of the injured. In the statement, Baba said – Dr. A P Singh Senior Advocate, Supreme Court is being authorized on our behalf so that appropriate action can be taken in relation to the stampede caused by some anti-social elements after the Samagam / Satsang. Narayan Sakar Hari claimed that he had left before the stampede at the Samagam on July 2 in Phulrai village of Sikandrarao in Hathras. He has blamed the organizers for this accident. Let us tell you that self-proclaimed saint Bhole Baba is being held responsible for this accident.

Baba is under house arrest in the ashram
After the incident in Hathras, Bhole Baba reached his ashram in Bichwan town of Mainpuri late on Tuesday night. Since then, the police have barricaded the ashram. Baba has been put under house arrest by the police. However, the police is denying the presence of Baba inside the ashram. Even after this, the number of police kept increasing around the ashram.

With the fortification of the ashram, Baba was put under house arrest. However, when the police officers were asked, they are denying the presence of Baba in the ashram. Till Wednesday evening, only police was seen around the ashram. At the same time, a sevadar of the ashram confirmed that Bhole Baba is in the ashram. He told that Baba came to the ashram at 3 pm on Tuesday and since then entry of anyone has been stopped in the ashram. On the other hand, the police is continuously denying this. However, along with the police, the intelligence department teams are also camping around the ashram in the town of Bichwan.
