The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has declared 2025 as the “Year of Trader Pride”. National President Shri B.C. Bhartia and National General Secretary and Chandni Chowk MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal announced that this year will focus on highlighting traders’ rights, their contribution to India’s economic, social, cultural, and religious development, and addressing their challenges to establish their rightful respect.
CAIT’s National Secretary and Chandigarh Chapter President Harish Garg stated that a National Trader Conference will be held in Delhi on January 6-7, bringing together over 150 prominent trade leaders from across the country. This conference will finalize the programs for the “Year of Trader Pride”. More than 48,000 trade organizations across India will participate in implementing this grand initiative.
Harish Garg also mentioned that Chandigarh representatives, including General Secretary Bhim Sen, Vice President Harishankar Mishra, and Treasurer Shri Ramesh Singla, will attend the national executive meeting in Delhi.
Harish Garg and Bhim Sen emphasized that CAIT is committed to strengthening the role of traders as the backbone of the economy. This effort aims to unite over 90 million traders across the country and provide the trading community with a new direction.
CAIT urges all trade organizations, associations, and traders to join this movement and celebrate 2025 as the Year of Trader Pride, safeguarding their rights and dignity.
