The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced Class 10 results on the official websites of the Board at cbseresults.nic.in.
However, students can check their result 2021 from cbseresults.nic.in, as the candidates will be required to use roll number as login credentials. Marksheets and certificates of CBSE Class 10 results will be available on DigiLocker, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY). Candidates can login to the website, digilocker.gov.in by using their mobile numbers registered with CBSE and download marksheet.
As per the sources, This year, 20,97128 students had registered for Class 10 exams, out of whom, 20,76,997 students have passed. The overall pass percentage this year is at 99.04%, a major increase from 91.46% in 2020 and 91.10% in 2019. Trivandrum region has recorded the highest pass percentage- 99.99%. Chennai and Bengaluru are the second and third best-performing districts with 99.96% and 99.94% respectively.
According to CBSE; Over 57,000 students have scored above 95 per cent marks in Class 10 while the number of candidates scoring between 90 and 95 per cent has gone up to over two lakh.
The board has announced the results this year on basis of an alternate assessment policy after the exams were completely cancelled in view of the aggressive second wave of COVID-19.
According to the policy, while 20 marks for each subject were for internal assessment as every year, 80 marks were calculated on basis of the students’ performance in various tests or exams throughout the year.
