Complete lockdown in Maharashtra? Important meeting of Uddhav Thackeray today, may be a big decision.

The second wave of covid-19 has caused the most destruction in Maharashtra . Everyday Covid-19 cases are increasing in Maharashtra and more than 50 thousand daily cases of infection are being reported. As the Covid-19 is rising, weekend lockdown continues across Maharashtra. This year is the first time the entire Maharashtra weekend is under lockdown. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has called an important meeting to discuss ways to overcome the covid-19.

Earlier, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had said that he was not personally in favor of lockdown as the economy was badly affected. But after consulting with experts and several stakeholders, the government has implemented night curfew and weekend lockdown across the state, in addition to closing all the beaches. During this time all non-essential services will remain closed.
