Delhi Gurudwara Committee member and BJP leader received a threatening note, police is investigating

Delhi: Unknown miscreants fired on BJP leader Ramanjot Singh’s car in Uttam Nagar, Delhi at 9:30 pm on Monday night. After the incident, the miscreant fled from the spot, and also put a threatening slip on the car, which read “Last Warning” and the name of gangster Gogi Mann.

Ramanjot Singh said that he had received a threatening call from Khalistanis from an international number a few days ago, about which he had complained to the police. After the incident, senior police officials reached the spot and started investigation, but the police did not recover any evidence of firing, such as bullet shells.
The police gave a statement in this matter and said that no concrete evidence of firing has been found, while Ramanjot Singh says that firing had taken place.

Ramanjot Singh Meeta is the youngest member of the Gurudwara Managing Committee of Delhi. He joined BJP along with 1500 Sikhs on 27 April 2024 in presence of BJP president JP Nadda, national general secretary Tarun Chugh, party leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva.
