Arvind Kejriwal Will Remain In Tihar Jail For Now, Delhi High Court Gives A Big Blow

New Delhi: Delhi High Court has stayed the bail of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the corruption case of Delhi liquor scam. Delhi High Court has given a big decision in this case and has continued the stay on Kejriwal’s bail. After this decision, Kejriwal will remain in Tihar Jail for now. The court has clearly said today that the stay on Arvind Kejriwal’s bail will continue. ED had filed a petition in the High Court against the cancellation of his bail, on which the High Court has decided to continue the stay on bail till the hearing is completed.

A single bench of Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain heard the case today in the Delhi High Court and pronounced the verdict. Let us tell you that Kejriwal was granted bail by the lower court on June 20, after which the ED filed a petition in the High Court against this bail decision and demanded cancellation of the bail. On June 21, the Delhi High Court put an interim stay on Kejriwal’s bail and reserved the decision.
The court has given its verdict today after hearing the arguments of both the parties.
