Harish Garg flagged off the three-day cleanliness drive at 500 places in India

Chandigarh: Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with them, will organize programs at 500 places in India from 27 October to 30 October to inspire the public under the program (Diwali with My India).

These include cleaning of markets, meeting patients inside hospitals and taking care of them, controlling traffic with the help of traffic police. As part of this, the program was started on Sunday. This program was flagged off by Harish Garg, National Secretary of Confederation of All India Traders and President of Chandigarh Chapter.

Sanjana Vats participated in it on behalf of District Officer Nehru Yuva Kendra. A cleanliness drive was carried out on a large scale with the help of Chief Sanitary Inspector Jagjit Singh and sanitation workers from Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. In the programme, 200 children from Social Worker Free Tuition Centre Halomajra took out an awareness rally with posters having slogans written on them in their hands, explaining the importance of cleanliness on a large scale in Halomajra. The entire team of CAT including Vice President Hari Shankar Mishra, Secretary Abhay Jha, Ram Babu, Executive Member Mohit Kashyap, Amit Jha, Nitin Ranjan, Gulshan Sharma were present.

National Secretary of Confederation of All India Traders and President of Chandigarh Chapter Harish Garg praised this effort and said that this will not only benefit the people but will also help the patients who are undergoing treatment in the hospital. He said that people should participate enthusiastically in this program of the Government of India, and seeing the enthusiasm of the people, he said that people from every section and every age, including children, have contributed to the program.

It is the inspiration of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi that people are involved in social service work in such large numbers and are contributing to the cleanliness campaign across the country. Garg said that his team has also fully cooperated in this program. In the coming times, members of all the units of Confederation of All India Traders are also joining this campaign across the country.
