Famous choreographer of South and Hindi films Sheikh Jani Basha aka Jani Master was going to receive the National Award in the ‘Best Choreography Category’ this year. The National Film Award Cell of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued a statement announcing that Jani Master’s National Film Award has been suspended. Apart from this, the invitation given to Jani Master to attend the 70th National Film Awards to be held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi has also been cancelled. This means that now neither Jani Master will get the National Award nor will he be able to attend this ceremony.
