Bus Fell Into 200 Feet Deep Gorge In Doda, 2 Dead, 25 Injured
Jammu-Kashmir ( Doda): A mini bus crashed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Saturday morning. Two people have died and 26 are injured in this incident. The bus went off the road near Doda and fell into a 200 feet deep gorge. A total of 28 people were travelling in the bus that met with the accident. According to the information received, the accident took place near Bhatyas at around 10.25 am. The bus was going from Bhalesha to Thathri.
Giving information in the case, Doda Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh said that two people including a woman died in this accident. 4 were seriously injured and 5 others were referred to the hospital. A total of 9 people have been referred to GMC (Government Medical College) Doda by the administration.
Referring to the cause of the accident, he said that at first glance the cause of the accident seems to be a fault in the bus… The driver tried his best to avoid the accident. However, 2 people lost their lives in the accident, a total of 26 people including 2 children were injured… The seriously injured patients have been referred to GMC Doda.
