Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered the late Ratan Tata at the inauguration of Tata Aircraft Complex in Vadodara, Gujarat. On this occasion, he said that we have lost a great son of the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the Tata Aircraft Complex in Vadodara, Gujarat along with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. C-295 transport aircraft will be manufactured in this complex. An agreement has been signed between Spain and India to manufacture 56 aircraft. On this occasion, PM Modi remembered the late Ratan Tata, former chairman of Tata Sons. He said that if he were with us today, he would have been very happy.
PM Modi, while inaugurating the Tata Aircraft Complex, remembered Ratan Tata and said, ‘Recently we lost the great son of the country, Ratan Tata ji. If he were among us today, he would have been very happy, but wherever his soul is, he will definitely be happy.’ Addressing on this occasion, the Prime Minister further said that this C-295 aircraft factory reflects the new work culture of the new India.
In his address, the Prime Minister further said that when I was the CM of Gujarat, it was decided to set up a factory to make train coaches in Vadodara. The factory was also made ready for production in record time and today we are exporting metro coaches made in that factory to other countries. Expressing confidence, PM Modi said that I am confident that in future the aircraft made in this factory (TATA Aircraft Complex) will also be exported to other countries.
