NEET UG exam will be held again tomorrow for 1563 candidates
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the re-examination of NEET UG tomorrow i.e. on June 23. This exam is being conducted for 1563 candidates. The admit card has been issued for this. A senior NTA official said that the NEET-UG re-examination for 1,563 candidates will be held on Sunday, in which officials of the National Testing Agency and the Union Ministry of Education will be present at the examination centers. According to the official, this step has been taken to ensure the smooth conduct of the re-examination.
The NEET UG re-exam will be held on Sunday at seven centres – six of which will be new. The NEET UG re-exam is being held after the agency withdrew the grace marks given to students who were compensated for loss of time due to delay in starting of the exam at six centres in Meghalaya, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Chandigarh.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday ruled out the possibility of cancelling NEET for now, saying the careers of lakhs of students who have cleared the exam in the right manner cannot be jeopardised because of a few incidents of malpractice.
