New Delhi: In a crackdown against Khalistani terrorists and gangsters, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has carried out raids in various states across the country. NIA operations have been conducted in 30 locations in Punjab, 13 in Rajasthan, 4 in Haryana, 2 in Uttarakhand, and 1 each in Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh.
The NIA’s actions included raids near Udham Singh Nagar Bazpur and Dehradun Turner Road in Uttarakhand. These operations are aimed at dismantling the network connecting terrorists and drug dealers. This network is responsible for supplying weapons and drugs to terrorists and gangsters abroad through the Hawala channel.
These developments come in the wake of the recent killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. The incident led to tensions between India and Canada, with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau referring to Nijjar as a Canadian citizen and accusing India of his murder. In response, India expelled a Canadian diplomat from Delhi and suspended visa services for Canadians.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken significant action against gangsters and Khalistani networks. The investigative agency has conducted raids at 50 locations in Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. The NIA is on a continuous mission to dismantle the nexus between terrorists, gangsters, and drug dealers.
