Chandigarh BJP office-bearers led by President Jatinder Pal Malhotra today attended oath-taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.
It was a proud moment for BJP leaders to watch the proceedings. The team was invited from Delhi to be part of the historic event. On the occasion, party president and other leaders got a chance to meet national leaders and interact with them.
On this, party president Malhotra said, “Modiji is going to be the PM for the third straight term, equalling the record of first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, who had also become the PM three times in a row. It is not a small thing to happen in the entire world. And as a small sipahi of the BJP, we all feel so much proud of this fact.”
“It is due to the public-centric policies of the Prime Minister that it could be possible. Public knows if Modiji says something, he fulfills it. He will do the same in his third term too and fulfill the guarantees given to the public,” Malhotra said further.
He added following PM’s footsteps, the party workers in Chandigarh will continue to do social work and also take centre government’s policies to the people so that they can take advantage of it. All our workers are encouraged seeing him take the charge and making a hattrick.
