November 29, 2023, Pune, India: Very disappointing information was received as per the sources that 40 passengers traveling from Chennai to Pune suffered from food poisoning. They were traveling on the Bharat Gaurav Train. The Ministry of Railways has revealed that a private player is operating the service. The ministry has revealed that it will take action against the company.
It has caused emotional distress among the travelers and their experience has alarmed that even after the development and highly equipped infrastructure, the Railway Authority fails to provide basic amenities i.e. meals in good quality and hygiene.
It is Good that the Railway Ministry has acknowledged and agreed to take action. But it damage has been done. The Ministry and Authorities have to make sure that it will not repeat again.
