Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new super-specialty hospital in Haryana’s Faridabad on Wednesday. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar were also present on the occasion. The 2,600-bed private hospital has opened with 500 beds at present and is expected to be fully operational in a phased manner over the next five years.
The super specialty Amrita Hospital is built on a sprawling area of 130 acres. Its seven-storey hospital has been constructed over a period of six years under the aegis of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a centralized laboratory, which will give a major boost to the healthcare infrastructure in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The new super-specialty hospital has been opened with 500 beds initially and is expected to be fully operational in a phased manner over the next five years. Once fully operational, the 81 specialty hospital is touted to be the largest private hospital in Delhi-NCR and the country.
