New Delhi: After the Lok Sabha elections are over, exit polls have predicted a bumper victory for the BJP. In the exit polls of various TV channels, the BJP is getting a one-sided victory. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also reacted to the exit polls.

Describing the exit poll as ‘fake’, the Congress said that this is a ‘deliberate attempt’ to justify rigging in the elections and is part of the ‘psychological game’ being played by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demoralize the workers of the Indy alliance.

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh also hit out at PM Modi for holding a series of meetings, including a long brainstorming session to review the 100-day agenda of the ‘new government’, and said these were “pressure tactics” to signal to the bureaucracy and administrative set-up that he is coming back.

These are all mind games, Ramesh said after a meeting at the Congress headquarters. “We hope the civil servants who have been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring fair counting of votes will not be intimidated by these pressure tactics,” Jairam said.
