Now a days, Ramayana has been trending across social media and TV. It has made Ramayana and its characters to be part of our daily life. Not only that, it has now become the hot topic for daily communication for all. There are many controversies associated with “Ramayana” too. The first controversy is that which incidents written in Ramayana had actually happened? Second controversy is associated with relationship of Goddess Sita and Lord Rama. Many liberals have questioned on the “injustice”done on Bhagwati Sita. As per them Rama was not the icon for ideal Husband because he demanded “Agni Pariksha” and he had “exiled” pregnant goddess Sita to forests even after “Agni Pareeksha”.
Today Humari Baat will discuss all these things in detail. Doing , this we will tell historic and scientific interpretation of these incidents of “Ramayana”.
Homo sapiens or Present day human beings had been developing themselves from 2,00,000 to 10,000 BC. But Homoerectus race was on decline mode from 2,00,000 BC to 10,000 BC. Ramayana is the only historic document that established the fact of co-existence of two human species and also provides reference of the the mental, physical and spiritual development of human being.
Lord Hanumana (last of the great homoerectus species) is the icon who acquired the three phenomenon (Bal, Budhi, Vidya) from from the most perfect homosapien and perfect God of that time i.e. Lord Rama and Lord Shiva respectively. Panchmukhi Lord Hanumana symbolizes the development of five categories of species viz horse species (horses, zebra, deers, antelope etc.), Lion species (Cat species), Garuda species (All birds), Varah species (elephants, hippos, boar, rats, rhino etc).
By the end of 10000 BC Jamboo Dweep (Eurasia + Africa) was territory of five races. They were suryavansh (dynasty of Ikashvaku), Yaksha Race (Kingdom of Kuvera), Rakshasha Race (Kingdom of Sumali) and Vanar Vansh (last of the Homoerectus/Kingdom of Bali)
Yakshas were ruling Punjab, Himalayas and its north, Suryavansh and Ila (Chandra Vansh) were ruling from Today’s Saudi Arab to Today’s Bihar. Vanar Race was ruling southern Jamboodweep while rest of the earth was under the rule of Sumali and Ravana. We are referring all these things through Rig Veda, Valmiki Ramayana, Hela historical sources and folklore, Atharva Veda, Matsya Purana and Brahmanda Purana. We think that Treta Yug or Ramayana time period might be from 2,00,000 BC to 7,000 BC.
As per we three of the best ramayana scriptures are “Valmiki Ramayana”, “Adhbut Ramayana” and “Yog Vishishta or Vashisth Ramayana”. You may find good references from Mahabharata, Devi Bhagwat and Brahmanda Purana also. It is because the three versions of Ramayana were least interfeared. While all the versions written under mediveal period can not be trusted because alots of incidents are imaginary. Even Ramcharitmanas can not be trusted but It is also true that to some extent it is similar to Valmiki Ramayana. Even Budhhist Ramayana and Jain Ramayana too are not trustworthy because a lot of interfearance has been done just to show Lord Rama as the follower of “Ahismsa Parmodharma” rule
Valmiki Ramayana is not fully trust worthy too. It is true that Valmiki Ramayana is most authentic work on the life of Lord Rama, and Adhbut Ramayana is authentic to portray the life of Goddess Sita. “Yoga Vishashtha” is important work on the yog and spiritual facts prevalent at that time. It is also noted that Valmiki Ramayana had also been interfeared after 114th sarga. It is because You would find in all sargas “Rama was praising womanhood, Bhagwati Sita”, “He was crying for Bhagwati Sita”. Suddenly after 25th shaloka in 114 Sarga, he said he defeated Ravana not for Sita and that agni pariksha incident was showcasing altogether a very different person. The one who spoke for the freedom of woman, eventually started to speak on what woman should do, what she should not do.
Original Valmiki Ramayana does not talk about incidents after “the return of Rama to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile”. All the incidents were only added later between 9th to 11th century through the reference of Luv and Kush in “Mahabharata”, Vishnu Purana. So Logically, Uttar Kanda is imaginary. But Evidence of Luv and Kush in “Mahabharata” as sons of Rama assures that the two were successors of Lord Rama or Surya Vansha race. Hence Sita never gave agni pariksha, never went to exile and never ever took shelter inside earth by invoking. It is a possibility that the way Rama took jal Smadhi, the way Sita took ” Bhu Smadhi”. It is also just an imagination.
These all proofs shows that the story of Rama killing Ravana is 100% true and It was beginning of Suryavansha (Aryans) race to capture whole Jamboodweep.
Jai Shree Rama
