Step towards a better tomorrow

A “PLASTIC FREE” campaign was organised on October 23, 2021 by a non governmental organization named as ‘Environment Society‘ at Chandigarh ; sector 22. The slogan followed by the campaign was “DON’T USE PLASTIC“. As, the campaign was organised by the organisation’s president as well as secretary named as Snehil Sharma and Rohan respectively.

As the campaign was accompanied by numerous College going students. The collegiates has held their hands over the sky along with their respective play cards saying; “PLASTIC- POLYTHENE FREE CHANDIGARH“.

Furthermore, The ‘Plastic Free’ campaign was up lifted by the President of the organisation ; Snehil Sharma ; vice president :Bhuvan; Joint Secratary :Rohit ; Treasurer: Rajat ; Advisor: Harshit; Member: Mohit, Sahil ; Chief patron: NK Jhinghan ; Secratary: Rohan and Renu Bala; the director of social welfare Board. Apart from them, The campaign was also followed by the students of Chandigarh Group of colleges including: Aradhya , Radhika , Sarika , Priyanshu , Gunjan , Jatin , Abhimanyu and Anmol Madan .

At the starting of the campaign it was observed that the campaign seems to be quite slow and steady but when the entire members of the committee started orbiting around the respective area the people started participating actively at the campaign.

However, after some time the committee members were sure as well as clear that the most proportion of the crowd as well as participants were awared about the campaign.

On the contrary; The systemic as well as well maintained campaign without any traffic hindrances made the public overwhelmed.
