The Supreme Court of India has taken the problem of living of migrant laborers amid second wave of corona and has asked for the information from central and State governments about steps taken by them.
The Supreme Court announced that it wants not only Delhi NCR but all the states to get free Rashanss for labourers,Coummuntiy kitchens etc. Were arranged or not. At the same point of time they told all the states and the central government to arrange transport system for these migrant laborers who wants to return their villages and the court will pass an order by the evening .
The Supreme Court has also asked for a response from the centre regarding payment of ex- Gratia amount of rs.4 Lakh to the family of those who died of corona virus and those involved in relief operation under the disaster management act. It also asked whether the Centre provided the assistance or not to the people who died of Corona. Apart from this, the Supreme Court asked the Center to give guidelines regarding the issue of death certificate. The Supreme Court has said that there should be a uniform guideline for the issue of death certificate.
