After Jio and Airtel, now Vi (Vodafone Idea) has also changed its plans. The company has increased the price of both its prepaid and postpaid plans. After the year 2021, the company has updated its entire portfolio for the first time. Like Airtel and Jio, Vi has also increased its tariff price by 20 percent.
The company says that it is working on its philosophy of supporting entry level users along with increasing the price of the plans. Because of this, they have made minor changes in the entry level plans. Vi says that they are planning to bring investment in the coming quarter.
With this, they will be able to improve their 4G service as well as expand the 5G network. The company is still offering unlimited night data and data rollover facility with its daily data plans. The company said that their new plans will be effective from July 4. And the new plans of Jio and Airtel will be applicable from July 3.
After the hike, the company’s monthly plan starts at Rs 199, which earlier used to cost Rs 179. The price of the annual plan is Rs 2899, but after the price hike, its price is Rs 3,499. The validity of this plan is 365 days, in which you get 1.5 GB daily data. Along with this, unlimited calling and 100 SMS are also available. Earlier also telecom companies had revised some plans but this time the entire portfolio has been changed. The increased prices of these recharge plans will come into effect from next month.
