New Delhi: The Union Sports Minister, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, has announced the grand launch of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, set to take place during the National Youth Festival on January 11-12, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event will witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s direct interaction with 3,000 youth leaders, emphasizing the government’s commitment to building a leadership base of 1 lakh young individuals dedicated to India’s progress.
The program will commence with the Viksit Bharat Challenge, starting on November 25, 2024. A nationwide digital quiz targeting youth aged 15-29 will serve as the preliminary round. This quiz will test participants’ knowledge of India’s landmark achievements. The first round will conclude on December 5, 2024.
Essay/Blog Writing Competition: Focused on 10 curated themes that address India’s developmental goals.
State-Level Presentations: Selected winners from the essay competition will present their ideas at state-level events.
National Championship: State-level winners will compete in the final round at Bharat Mandapam, presenting their innovative visions for Viksit Bharat directly to the Prime Minister.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue will convene youth leaders selected from three distinct groups:
Challenge Participants: Winners of the Viksit Bharat Challenge digital quiz.
State/District Festival Performers: Talented youth excelling in areas such as painting, science exhibitions, cultural performances, and declamation contests.
Young Icons and Innovators: Youth achievers from diverse fields, including entrepreneurship, sports, agriculture, and technology.
State Exhibitions: Featuring youth-centric projects in education, skill development, and entrepreneurship.
Ministry Exhibitions: Showcasing flagship programs and initiatives promoting youth leadership, social impact, and innovation.
Interactive Plenary Sessions:
Renowned national and international personalities will host workshops and discussions to inspire the youth with innovative insights and practical knowledge.
Cultural Performances:
A tribute to India’s rich heritage under the theme “Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi”. This segment will blend cultural vibrancy with a progressive outlook, featuring artistic displays and traditional performances.
This event aims to align youth leadership with the nation’s developmental vision, empowering the next generation to actively contribute to India’s transformation. By providing opportunities for dialogue, skill enhancement, and leadership, the initiative is set to redefine youth engagement in civic life and national progress.
